The Little Mermaid first draft

oh and for the record I think her arms are actually fine. I like how she actually has some flesh on her arms and tummy instead of looking like a stick figure like SOME mermaids I know. it DOES seem like her hair is not very ... flowy. it kind of just sticks out. but I LOVE her dreamy expression. even if you cant draw the details very well the thing I think is MOST important is showing emotion. if you draw the BEST art ever it will still just look flat if you dont have the feelings behind it! good job
